Kids Half Day Yachting

Get on board a modern Sigma 26ft performance yacht - impressive and highly manoeuvrable.

Meet your instructor and fellow crew members first and get kitted out, then head out to the yachts for a safety briefing. Training includes hoisting sails, helming and practising the most efficient methods of steering and guiding the yacht. Next you'll be briefed on the rules of the race which takes place on a floating 'race track', and it's all hands on deck for that. You'll be part of the team and participate fully in crewing the yacht during the race, putting into action everything that you've been taught.

Afterwards return to the clubhouse for race results and logbook signing (for those who have been bitten by the bug and want to take their sailing further).
