Zookeeper for a Day Experience (London Zoo)

Love animals? Then you’re going to love this! Virgin’s Zookeeper for a Day experience is your chance to see just what it’s like to take care of some amazing animals in a real zoo! During this fun and educational experience you will interact with many rare animals, including penguins, giraffes, big cats and meerkats!

Based at the world famous London Zoo, you’ll start at 9am at the zoo for an safety talk, then you’ll help out with feeding a wide variety of the zoo animals, before stopping for lunch. In the afternoon you will help assist with cleaning cages and other zoo-related activities, as well as getting some one-on-one time with a few of the zoo’s residents. At the end of the day you will also receive a commemorative photo!

This is a unique opportunity to get close to some of the world’s most fascinating animals, many of whom are rare or endangered species. The minimum age for this experience is 16 and spectators are welcome. Also, many couples enjoy sharing this experience together. Shark Diving Experience

Instead of going thousands of miles for a ‘shark encounter’ you can now experience the thrill of swimming with sharks right in England! The Blue Planet aquarium offers exclusive access to tropical shark diving, along with an expert team to guide you from start to finish.

A staff member will meet you when you arrive at the aquarium, and you will attend a safety introduction and briefing before you get suited up. A qualified PADI dive instructor will be with you at all times while you swim through waters populated with Lemon Sharks, Nurse Sharks, Tiger Sharks and nearly 1500 species of fish. After you complete your swim (and shower) you’ll be presented with a certificate to commemorate your experience.
